Ingredients

  • 0.5 cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 T dried oregano
  • 2 t salt

Directions

  1. Shred all vegetables.
  2. Pour 4 cups boiling water over. Let sit 10 minutes, then drain.
  3. Mix remainder, mix into vegetables, refrigerate.

Pupusas

Ingredients

  • 4.5 cups masa
  • Cold water
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Mix together. Let sit.
  2. Shape into balls. Insert filling. Flatten.
  3. Fry for ~4-5 minutes each side.
